Rulers will be in a unique position: their kingdom is theirs to raise, grow, defend, and expand. He may disobey an order he finds revolting, or even defect in the middle of battle - leaving the enemy with a difficult choice to make: is he sincere, or laying the groundworks for a trap? He can blindly follow his ruler, even as the people wish for him to be overthrown, or revolt and form a personal force of his own, asking for followers from far and wide to join him. These things may change based on how many people are interested.Д®ach player will play an officer, and each will have his own personal set of abilities, statistics, and attributes, and ultimately, anything the player does is up to him. I expect the map to be relatively large (around 30-50 provinces) relative to the size of the starting kingdoms (3-5 provinces). A select few will take the call to rule an entire kingdom, while others will offer their services to whoever appeals to them most - the one who has the Will of Heaven, the one who has a sense of justice, the one who lusts for power and wealth. I expect at least 20 players will be needed to make this truly extraordinary. By improving their land, improving defenses, raising soldiers, creating weaponry, and waging war, the rulers, with the aid of their officers, will attempt to control the land for themselves - what kind of kingdom they will rule is ultimately up to them. Players will join factions led by these rulers and work to expand their ruler's influence throughout the land. Rise of Kingdoms is a game where players join together to create their own personal 'kingdoms', led by a single person (the ruler). Note: This game is heavily influenced by the game Romance of the Three Kingdoms. I expect it to be a long-term game, and (hopefully) many members will show interest.
